WHAT THE AWARDS ARE ALL ABOUT...
The Lifestyle Awards were founded in 2006 as a fun and light hearted way in which to celebrate our favourite luxury brands, suppliers, clients, friends and contacts in the industry. Now encompassing interiors, architecture, fashion, travel and art, the awards include five categories. The winner of each category is presented with a crystal award with silver star at a black tie gala event in September. Previous awards have been received by Herbert Ypma of the HIP Hotels brand, Jacques Azagury for AZAGURY couture and fragrance, Lisa Tchenguiz for Best Hostess (London & St Tropez), the publisher and broadcaster Andrew Neil for Best Client (London & France) and 'Shutters On The Beach', Santa Monica, for Best International Hotel. We thank the established brands for their inspiration and hope to encourage and support all the new entrepreneurs participating..!

Each awards event is preceded earlier in the year by a drinks and dinner event at which the nominees, judges and friends have the opportunity to mingle and introduce themselves and their brand. This year nominees dinner was held at The Brompton Club in South Kensington, London, and amongst the 120 guests were TV presenter and Awards 2011 judge Noelle Reno, interior designer Henrietta Perry and Alec Watt, MD of Callister Russell, Sanober Ahmed of Collette Dinnigan, supermodel Christina Estrada-Juffali, wildlife TV presenter Anneka Tanaka-Svenska, Oliver Bolton of 'Alibi' Pre-Tox Drinks, Heather Bird-Tchenguiz of HB Health, philanthropist and art collector Mercedes Zobel, singer Laura Blodgett-Comfort, luxury brand PR Caterina De Medici, digital media student Maria Shetinina, Anca Cristache of the boutique 'Anca C.', nominee Maria Garrido, Emily Liptak of 'Eternal Reign', Clive Black of Blacklist Entertainment, Fashion TV presenter Diane Stafrace, Owen Rothwell of HR Owen, Hagen Martin of Bang & Olufsen, jewellery designer Claire Guerlain, international florist Rob Van Helden of RVH Floral Design, Suzanne Knighton of St Luke's Investments, Sophie Panizzo of Sotheby's International Realty, nominee Bantika Elsley of REAL Hair in Chelsea with her boyfriend, Harlequins rugby player George Robson, property developer Andrew De Candole, best selling author of 'The Last Templar' Raymond Khoury and architect Marwan Jamal of Markam Associates. During the evening, Moet & Chandon champagne was served alongside vodka based cocktails by Grey Goose, awards nominee Emily Liptak launched her new brand of lingerie 'Eternal Reign', Plavka Coleridge sang jazz and a fabulous dinner was served at tables decorated with arrangements of scented mixed white flowers in 'antiqued' silver vases courtesy of awards nominee, Rob Van Helden. Bob Carlos Clarke print goody bags were provided by nominee The Little Black Gallery and the contents provided by a number of the participants. Truly, we've had too many fun nights here to mention... If you like to be spoiled rotten with great music, fabulous service, beautiful people, delicious food and wine and amazing cocktails in an upscale private club - then this is the one to belong to. In-tox, re-tox, de-tox...now PRE-tox. Very handy! If you are planning a wild night out (and if not, why not?), please ensure you have a few 'Alibi' in your fridge beforehand.
